The rainy start to the day and the weather prediction of evening thunderstorms only served to increase our enjoyment of tonight's favourable conditions. Despite moving up to a longer distance, 17 of tonight's participants still managed to improve upon their previous 2010 best WTT speed. You may click here to see a graph of the best 10km and first WTT 15km of 2010. As well, five improved upon their previous database best. Congratulations to these women for their new personal bests. Special recognition goes to Tricia Spooner who set a new female record for the WTT 15km series. You may click here to see the list of WTT riders who rode faster than 40km/h. We're hoping that the WTT 15km record drops below 21 minutes this season!

(Note that I'd gladly type in the results each time, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. Regardless, I will continue to donate this statistical time trial result service to you, even though doing so has, surprisingly, resulted in my EXPULSION from the OBC ! I guess I must at least thank the OBC executive for taking on the grunt work and leaving me to do just the more interesting side of my result service, but I do want to make it absolutely clear that I would gladly help the OBC Board input the results, lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface! The choice is theirs. If they want the help, I'm here and will do it - even if I remain expelled! Such is my level of dedication to public service and disinterest in private politics.)
